• Intermediate Technology - A sustainable development corporation whose mission is to build the technical skills of poor people in developing countries, enabling them to improve the quality of their lives and that of future generations.
• Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) - Comprehensive coverage of conflict-induced displacement worldwide. The IDP database includes reports, news, maps and other resources pertaining to internally displaced persons.
• The International Development Magazine - Free quarterly magazine produced by the UK Government's Department for International Development. The site features articles from the magazine and an online ordering system.

• Third World Network Africa - A non-governmental organisation which carries out research and advocacy on issues of social and economic policy that advances the needs and interests of peoples of African and other third world countries. Includes articles, campaigns, networks, publications and links.
• United Nations Children's Fund - UNICEF works for the survival, development and protection of children, guided in its programmes by the Convention on the Rights of the Child. A very comprehensive website.
• United Nations Development Program (UNDP) - Through a network of 134 country offices, the UNDP helps people in 174 countries and territories to help themselves, focusing on poverty elimination, environmental regeneration, job creation and the advancement of women. In support of these goals, UNDP is frequently asked to assist in promoting sound governance and market development and to support rebuilding societies in the aftermath of war and humanitarian emergencies.
• World Bank - Development Marketplace - A forum to encourage cooperation within the development community in the search for solutions to reduce poverty. It is envisioned to be both a series of events as well as an electronic space - to be used by members of the development community in order to find and create new ways of working together.
